urged to applaud
I would like to see all citizens, big or small, clap their hands at all military and marching bands and units that pass review.
The Wyoming Valley has two parades coming up: the Veterans Day and the Santa parade. Come out and support them.

for recent stance
I am writing in support of Rep. Lou Barletta’s recent actions in Congress. Lou and his colleagues passed several bipartisan bills to keep the government open. The Senate refused to compromise, or even entertain some of the bills advanced by the House.
After weeks of stubborn, unyielding behavior from Senate Democrats and President Obama, Lou agreed to re-open the government.
What did Lou and his colleagues want in exchange for fully funding the government? They wanted President Obama and Congress to repeal from “Obamacare” the ridiculous new Democratic tax placed on pacemakers and MRIs; and the one-year delay President Obama unilaterally granted to the corporations to also be extended to everyday Americans. In short, he wanted fairness.
I credit Lou for fighting for us, but also for realizing the political realities of Washington. For all their talk of fairness and compromise, the Democrats simply look out for themselves and rarely give an inch no matter what is at stake.
