SWOYERSVILLE — A Swoyersville man is being charged with burglary and criminal trespass after police say he broke into a borough home in August.

Brad Albert Lopuhovsky, 40, allegedly admitted that he took cash and jewelry from a residence on Lackawanna Avenue.

Lopuhovsky was charged with felony burglary and felony criminal trespass, and was transported to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility where he was arraigned Friday morning.

Lopuhovsky is also currently on parole supervision, and he was placed under a detainer for violating the conditions of his release, authorities reported.

Swoyersville police say they are investigating other recent burglaries in the borough to determine if Lopuhovsky was involved in them as well.
