The Kingston Municipal Police Department announced officers will be participating in aggressive driving enforcement activities as part of the PA Aggressive Driving Enforcement and Education Project. The first wave of enforcement in 2014 begins Monday and runs through May 4.
Kingston police will focus on drivers traveling on Wyoming Avenue and Market Street and any other roadway in Kingston on which drivers exhibit aggressive behavior.
Police will be joining more than 330 municipal police agencies and Pennsylvania State Police to reduce the number of aggressive driving related crashes, injuries and deaths on 435 roadways throughout the state.
Any aggressive driver stopped by police will receive a ticket. Visit www.justdrivePA.org for more information.
