The Care And Concern Free Health Clinic in Pittston honors its social services staff members for all they do in assisting patients with applications, referrals for services such as housing, jobs, and training, prescription drug assistance, food stamps, medical assistance, heating assistance, rent rebates and referrals to community agencies such as drug and alcohol counseling and mental health counseling.

March is the month to celebrate those in social service and this year’s theme is “All People Matter” which was selected to help raise awareness of the American Social Work professions’ commitment to improving social conditions and quality of life opportunities for everyone.
