Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania’s retail stores are extending their hours this month, opening every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to help consumers enroll in coverage before the end of open enrollment on March 31. The stores will continue to be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Consumers who do not enroll in coverage by March 31 will have to wait until the next open enrollment period, which begins in November, for coverage effective Jan. 1, 2015.

The stores are in Bartonsville Plaza near Stroudsburg and Park Center shopping center in Dickson City. The stores offer consumers an opportunity to meet face-to-face with a licensed professional who can talk them through various coverage options, explain available tax credits and subsidies, and help complete the online enrollment process.
