The National Weather Service-Binghamton has issued a winter weather advisory for hazardous conditions to begin around 8 p.m. Sunday in much of Northeastern Pennsylvania.

The service predicts a wintry mix of freezing rain, sleet and snow to begin this evening and continue until about 8 a.m. Monday.

Temperatures are expected to fall to the low 30s and high 20s with winds from the north blowing 15 to 20 mph and gusting up to 35 mph.

The service warns of slippery roads and limited visibility.
