The Abington Business and Professional Association hosted a “Home for the Holidays” open house weekend for community members from Friday, Nov. 27, to Sunday, Nov. 29.
Visitors had the opportunity chance to shop at local stores, participate in special events and even get the chance to meet Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, shown above, on Saturday, Nov. 28.
Also on Saturday, The Abington Community Library assisted with crafts and story time. Free gift wrapping was offered from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Music was provided by the Summit Singers of Summit Baptist Bible Church during a tree lighting ceremony of downtown Clarks Summit. The child winner of a coloring sweepstakes was invited to “flip the switch” to light the town.
