EXETER – The borough council will hold a public budget meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
NEWPORT TWP. – The Glen Lyon Crime Watch will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Italian American Sporting Club, 22 Apple St. District Judge Donald L. Whittaker will be guest speaker. New members are welcome.
LARKSVILLE – St. John the Baptist Church, 126 Nesbitt St., will host its annual Fall Festival on Oct. 23 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The festival will feature a flea market, bake sale, frozen pierogi sale and light refreshments.
WILKES-BARRE – Free Zumba lessons will be offered throughout October at River Common in the park’s Millenium Circle portal.
Zumba is a fitness workout program combining Latin rhythms with easy exercise moves for a cardiac workout.
Jody Nogin of the Jewish Community Center of Wyoming Valley, and Kelly and Linda Reilly of the Wilkes-Barre Family YMCA will be presenting the free classes:
