The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission said in a news release that the Northeastern Extension between the Mahoning Valley (Exit #74) and Pocono (Exit #95) Interchanges, will be restricted to a single-lane traffic pattern from 8 a.m. Monday through 3 p.m. Thursday.

Construction crews will establish a single-lane pattern northbound , closing the right lane between milepost A90 - A91.5 for slope remediation.

Motorists traveling north from Mahoning Valley should anticipate reduced speeds and slow moving or stopped traffic until the pattern is lifted on Thursday.

All work is weather permitting and could be rescheduled.
