The Lackawanna Historical Society will present the book signing and reception of Scranton native and author, Patrick Brown, at its headquarters, the Catlin House Friday July, 23 from 7 to 9 p.m. for his new Scranton history “Industrial Pioneers and the Transformation of America, 1840-1902.”

The Society is a proud collaborator on this publication which was released byTribute Books in June.

In “Industrial Pioneers..” Brown examines the development of Scranton from 1840 to 1902 and discusses the significant role Scranton played in the industrialization of the United States.
