WILKES-BARRE — A man who survived multiple gunshot wounds in a triple homicide in Plymouth nearly two years ago is wanted for allegedly raping a teenage girl.

An arrest warrant was issued Tuesday for Danny Maldonado, 21, last known address as East Carey Street, Plains Township.

Maldonado is accused of coercing a 14-year-old girl into having a sexual relationship because his wife wasn’t able to have sex during her pregnancy and after she gave birth to a daughter in November, according to the criminal complaint filed with District Judge Martin Kane in Wilkes-Barre.

Maldonado survived three gunshot wounds, including one to his head, when his brother, Nicholas Maldonado, 17, Bradley Swartwood, 21, and Lisa Abaunza, 15, were killed inside an apartment on First Street, Plymouth, in what state police at Wyoming said was a drug robbery on July 7, 2012.

Half-brothers, Shawn Hamilton, 20, and Sawud Davis, 17, pleaded guilty to the homicides in December. They were sentenced to life in prison.
