Troopers statewide investigated 397 crashes during the three day Easter holiday weekend.


Two people were killed and 128 others were injured.


Troopers issued 6,608 speeding citations, charged 326 people with driving under the influence, cited 600 individuals for not wearing seatbelts and ticketed 96 motorists for not securing children in safety seats.


Troopers assigned to Troop P, which covers northern Luzerne County and all of Bradford, Sullivan and Wyoming counties, investigated nine crashes, and arrests nine people for driving under the influence, cited 189 motorists for speeding, 35 people for not wearing seatbelts, and five motorists for not securing children in safety seats.
