The Waverly Community House is hosting the 22nd annual House and Garden Show April 26-27. Tickets are $6 at the door.
The Show opens on Saturday at 10 a.m. with over 30 vendors offering planning and plantings for your garden and landscape, creative house decorations and design advice, and unique gifts.
This year’s show will include vendors: 2 Crane Plants, 9 Ta Noon, All About It Tents & Events, Arendt’s Outdoor Services, Inc., Art by Renee, Auntie Pip’s, Bachestinks, Bath Fitter, Beichler’s Greenhouse, Beta Bread Bakery, Brown Hill Tree Co., Inc., Cakes & Scones Bakery, Concrete Thinking, Creekside Gardens, Dgrater, Distinctively Raisa Floral Décor, Dog Watch of the Endless Mountains, Dorothy Biddle Service, LLC, Keystone Fabric, Kitchen Saver, Leaf Filter Gutter Protection, Lisa Boland Designs, Nick’s Furniture Service, Perez Design Build Remodel LLC, Rave Patio, Rinker Generator, Sassy Albert Soaps, Scentsy, Special Touch Jewelry, Woods and Company and more.
Beichler’s Greenhouse will sponsor an ongoing gardening workshop for children, staffed by volunteers from area gardening clubs. For those who have always wanted to learn the art of fly fishing, A&G Outfitters will give casting demonstrations and teach fly tying basics.
The annual Spring Hearth Booth will feature “Everything PLUS the Kitchen Sink!” with hand-crafted cutting boards, hand-carved spoons, Mason Jar soup and cookies, aprons, pot holders and much more.
Visitors to this year’s show will enjoy a creamy asparagus soup, Caprese quiche, chicken Milanese wraps and a crab meat salad, made with the freshest of ingredients and prepared by Camelot Restaurant and Inn. For cups of coffee or tea and gourmet desserts, which are made in local kitchens, head to the Comm’s Coffee Shop which is located in the lobby canteen.
The House and Garden Show will also sponsor a raffle for a gift basket from a local business and items donated by the show’s vendors.
The Show is open on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Waverly Community House is located at 1115 North Abington Rd. in Waverly.
