Joanne Wagner of Leadership Wilkes-Barre’s project group Bright Lights Fit City makes some adjustments to LED white lights strung around a cherry tree on Public Square during Thursday’s official lighting debut at dusk. Nearly 17,000 LEDs were strung around 31 trees. Bright Lights Fit City is one of five project groups from Leadership Wilkes-Barre. The groups are composed of area professionals participating in the nine-month program to develop leadership skills.
