William G. Regan, of Mayflower Crossing, Wilkes-Barre, died Wednesday, September 28, 2011, in the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born June 30, 1931, in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late William and Margaret Schappert Regan.
William was a former manager of the Williamsport Village Apartments and also Mayflower Apartments, Wilkes-Barre. He was currently an attendant at the Blackman Street Laundromat, Wilkes-Barre.
He was a member of St. Nicholas Church, Wilkes-Barre.
Surviving are his daughter, Kimberly Regan, Nanticoke; brothers Jerome, of Wilkes-Barre; Thomas, of Edwardsville, and Martin, of Wilkes-Barre; sisters, Margaret Adams of Mountain Top, Patricia Donnelly of Wilkes-Barre, and Marian Smith of Bear Creek; as well as several nieces and nephews.
William was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Regan, and brothers Joseph, Robert, Donald and Charles Regan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Nicholas Church, Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Williamsport. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Mamary-Durkin Funeral Service, 59 Parrish Street, Wilkes-Barre.
