The Northeastern Pennsylvania Alliance and the Northeastern Pennsylvania Metropolitan Planning Organization will present the draft 2015-2018 Transportation Improvement Program and related documents for public review and comment.
TIP documentation is available for public review through 10 a.m. July 15 on NEPA Alliance’s website and at various locations throughout the region.
Public hearings will be held June 26 at 4:30 p.m. at the Monroe County Transportation Authority located at 134 MCTA Drive, Swiftwater, and on July 15 at 9:30 a.m. at the Junior Achievement of NEPA, 1122 Oak St., Pittston Township, to receive public testimony on these documents.
Individuals providing oral testimony will be allotted five minutes and must provide three written copies of their testimony.
Persons requiring special accommodations to permit attendance and those interested in providing testimony at the hearing are requested to contact Kate McMahon one week prior to the event at 570-655-5581 to register and be placed on the meeting agenda.
Those unable to attend may provide written testimony by sending comments to the NEPA Alliance office at 1151 Oak St., Pittston, PA 18640.
The meeting location is accessible to persons with disabilities. Written testimony must be received by noon on July 14.
