It’s shaping up to be a great start to the midweek in the Wyoming Valley.
The National Weather Service indicated that it was 73 degrees as of 7:54 a.m. Fair skies greeting the morning commute with a mixture of sunshine and some clouds. It was a sticky morning as well, with the humidity being at 71 percent.
Sunny skies will be the the trend today, but there will be a slight chance for some showers. Today’s high will reach the high 80s. Partly cloudy skies are predicted for tonight, along with a chance of showers after 9 p.m. Up to a quarter of an inch of rain is possible. Tonight’s low will be in the lower 60s.
Mostly sunny skies will return on Thursday, but so will a slight chance of showers before 2 p.m. Thursday’s high will be in the lower 80s. Clear skies will stick around through Thursday night, with a low in the lower 50s.
Sunny skies will remain throughout the day on Friday, followed by partly cloudy skies on Friday night. Friday’s high will be in the lower 80s, while the low on Friday night will be around 60 degrees.
