HARRISBURG — Attorney General Kathleen G. Kane will release Special Deputy Attorney General H. Geoffrey Moulton Jr.’s report reviewing the investigation of Jerry Sandusky at a news conference at 10:30 a.m., Monday, in the Capitol Media Center in Harrisburg.
Kane and Moulton, a former federal prosecutor, will address the media and take questions.
Kane vowed to look into the child molestation investigation while running for office in 2012.
The criminal case began with a report in Clinton County in late 2008, and nearly three years passed before the former Penn State assistant football coach was arrested.
Kane has suggested that then-Attorney General Tom Corbett had a political motivation to slow the investigation while he was running for governor in 2010, something Corbett has strongly denied.
Sandusky, a former Penn State University assistant football coach, was convicted of 45 counts of child sexual abuse and is serving a lengthy prison sentence.
