WILKES-BARRE — A man stabbed in the face does not want to pursue criminal charges against his attacker, city police said.
Police said the victim was found in a rear yard of a residence on Hutson Street at about 2:47 p.m. Sunday. He was transported to Wilkes-Barre General Hospital for a stab wound to his cheek.
While at the hospital, the victim informed officers “he did not wish to press charges.”
Police said they have identified a suspect in the assault.
A bloody kitchen knife with human flesh on it was found inside the kitchen that had blood spatter on the floors and counter, police said.
