SCRANTON — Members of the Confederation of Union Generals will “Meet the Public” in a presentation at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 15 at Steamtown National Historic Site. The program will aim to educate park visitors about their character’s role and accomplishments during the Civil War. Members also plan to answer questions from the audience in a first-person, in-character, narrative.

The Civil War is the first war in which railroads were a major factor, and the discussion will focus on the importance of railroads during this time period. Park visitors will also be able to meet, greet and pose for photos with the re-enactors.

The presentation will take place inside the park theater and is included in the entrance fee of $7 for adults over age 16.
