WILKES-BARRE — A city man will spend 41 months in prison on federal drug charges.

Dwayne Webb, 33, was sentenced Wednesday by U.S. District Judge A. Richard Caputo.

According to U.S. Attorney Peter Smith, Webb pleaded guilty in March to a charge of conspiracy to distribute heroin.

Webb was charged after an investigation conducted by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, state Police and the Wilkes-Barre Police Department, Smith said.

Webb was classified as a career offender under U.S. Sentencing Commission advisory sentencing

guidelines.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney William S. Houser.
