More rain is expected for the Wyoming Valley today.
The National Weather Service indicated that it was 70 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. Cloudy skies hovered overhead this morning, with some breaks to allow just a little bit of sunshine to peak through.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible before 10 a.m. today, then showers will be likely after 10 a.m., along with a possible thunderstorm. Up to three quarters of an inch of rain is possible. Today’s high will be in the lower 80s.
Showers and thunderstorms will be likely until 8 p.m. tonight, followed by scattered showers overnight. Up to a quarter of an inch of rain is possible. Tonight’s low will be in the lower 60s.
Sunny skies will finally return to the Wyoming Valley on Wednesday, with a high in the mid 70s, followed by partly cloudy skies on Wednesday night. Wednesday night’s low will be in the mid 50s.
