Police are investigating another shooting at the Sherman Hills apartment complex, the second to happen this week.
According to Luzerne County 911, police were called to the 200 block of Coal Street Wednesday night around 11 p.m. for a reported gunshot victim. Reportedly, the victim showed up at the door of a residence with a gun-shot wound to his arm.
The Wilkes-Barre City Police’s Facebook page indicated that officers responded to the area of 210 Coal Street, where it was reported a man yelled for someone to call for help as he was shot. The victim sustained a gun shot wound to the right arm and was taken to a local medical facility non life-threatening injuries.
The victim was uncooperative with officers and refused to identify himself, and information supplied on scene as to the victim’s identify was conflicting. The investigation is ongoing.
On Tuesday night, two men were shot at the troubled Sherman Hills apartment complex. Police said two black men in their 20s were shot during an attempted robbery Tuesday night. The men were found in building 328 at approximately 11:30 p.m., police said.
