Sunshine will see the Wyoming Valley through the rest of the week and into the weekend.

The National Weather Service indicated that it was 61 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. Mostly sunny skies ushered in the morning, with a few clouds lingering around.

Mostly sunny skies are expected today, followed by clear skies into tonight. Today’s high will be in the upper 70s, while the low will be in the lower 50s tonight.

Sunny skies will continue to be the trend on Friday, with a high in the lower 80s. Partly cloudy skies are predicted for Friday night, with a low in the mid 50s.

Saturday will continue the trend of sunny skies, with a high in the mid 40s. Clouds will move into the area on Saturday night, with a high in the lower 60s.
