WILKES-BARRE — Today’s Farmers’ Market on Public Square will feature “Nature Discovery Day” where children and adults can learn about the Kirby Park natural area, native and invasive insects, local wildlife, water conservation and more.

Second Chance Wildlife Center will host a live mammal show at 11 a.m. with animals commonly seen in local back yards. Exhibitors include Penn State Extension, Pennsylvania American Water and the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Bureau of Forestry.
