NANTICOKE — A vehicle pushed a pedestrian into a building earlier Thursday evening, according to city police.

Nanticoke police, fire, rescue and ambulance were dispatched at 7 p.m. to an accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian at the Rite Aid located at 5 E. Main St.

Upon their arrival, police were advised that a vehicle had hit a pedestrian and pushed the person into the Rite Aid Building.

Police said no further information, including the condition of the victim, is available and the accident remains under investigation.
