A woman, protected from the snow by her trusty blue umbrella, makes her way down the sidewalk on South Main Street near the post office in Wilkes-Barre just after 5 p.m. Monday, about the time Mother Nature delivered yet another late-winter “gift” from the skies to the city, making the ride home from work challenging for many. The wintry mix is forecast to continue today and into Wednesday, never mind that the calendar on that day reads “first day of spring.”
