Jordan Nochinson devours a buffalo wing during a Wing Wars event Monday at Wilkes University. Wilkes students gathered in the ballroom of the Henry Student Center to determine ‘best wings’ at the free gathering that featured more than 2,000 wings from six area restaurants – Big Ten, Januzzi’s, Bottleneck’s, Rodano’s, Frank’s and The Grotto. Students voted to award the title of “best wings” among the many sampled. The event was sponsored by the University’s Off-Campus Council. Some students participated in a contest within the contest to see who could eat Bottleneck’s hottest wings the fastest. Nochinson finished second to Matthew Aguilar. Find out the winners of best wings in several categories on Wilkes’ Facebook page.
