For me, and thousands of other deal seekers, Black Friday is our addiction. And while the hours keep getting earlier, the deals keep getting better, in my opinion.

While getting the deals will require sacrifice — I guess many will be eating Thanksgiving breakfast this year — if you can afford it and dedicate the time, you will be warmly rewarded.

Here’s a look at the top offers at area retailers:

Walmart has a 32-inch 720P HDTV for less than $100. At $98, this may be the deal of the day, even if the brand varies by store. The best part of this is that it’s one of the items included in Walmart’s guaranteed in-stock-for-one-hour promotion. The chain is guaranteeing that if you are in line within an hour of the 6 p.m. start of the sale, you will get the product or a voucher for the product at that price that you’ll be able to get before Christmas. In addition to this item, the guarantee covers nearly two dozen total items from video games to a Graco travel system. There are guarantees available for the 6 p.m. hour and the 8 p.m. hour.

• An Element 50-inch 1080p LED HDTV will be on sale at Target for $229 starting at 8 p.m.

Best Buy, which usually has the most people camping out and lined up for its electronic deals, has quite the sale on select video games. The Last of Us, Beyond; Two Souls, Assassin’s Creed 4; Black Flag, Battlefield 4 and assorted versions of recent EA Sports games are all being sold for $34.99.

• If toys are what you want, Kohl’s has all toys from major brands like Fisher-Price, Playskool, Tonka and Little Tikes for half off.

Babies R Us always comes through with some of the best deals, and this year is no exception. Among the awesome sales on clothing, baby gear and food are Babies R Us brand boxes of diapers for $10 and store brand boxes of 432 wipes for $6. And all Earth’s Best variety packs of jar baby food are buy-one-get-one free. The stores open at 5 p.m. Thursday.

Staples has the Kindle Fire 7-inch, HD, 16GB tablet for just $79, which is down from $169.

Sears has a Kenmore front-load washer and dryer set for $799.99 starting at 8 p.m. Thanksgiving. They normally sell for $899.99 apiece. This is one of those items that is limited to five per store, so get there early if you want them, and you must be a Sears ShopMyWay rewards member.

Turkey Hill not only has free 16-ounce coffee, fountain sodas or Slushies for customers all day Friday, but is also offering $25 Boscov’s gift cards for $21 — and get 10 cents off a gallon of gas if you use your Turkey Hill Rewards card.

• And finally, plenty of items need batteries, so head over to Big Lots on morning — doors open at 7 — to get two 20-packs of AC Delco AA or AAA alkaline batteries for $5. That’s that’s 12.5 cents a battery.
