HAZLETON — City police arrested a man they say was joyriding in a car stolen from a residence on South Fulton Court late Monday night.
Police said they spotted a 2001 Honda CR-V at about 1:52 a.m. Tuesday.
The driver, Juawawn Quenshawn Cooper, 21, of Hazleton, was charged with receiving stolen property and unauthorized use of a vehicle. He was jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $10,000 bail.
A passenger in the car, Rickeem Singleton, age and address unknown, was charged with possession of marijuana.
The car was reported stolen by a woman just after 11 p.m.
