WILKES-BARRE — Vito Aiello, accused of fatally shooting his wife, Jane, inside their Wilkes-Barre home on Sept. 26, faces arraignment in Luzerne County Court on Feb. 21 at 2 p.m.

Aiello , 48, who faces an open count of criminal homicide, originally was scheduled for arraignment on Feb. 14, but it was rescheduled, according to a court order signed by Judge Joseph F. Sklarosky Jr. on Thursday. No reason was given for the change.

Aiello recovered from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his head that authorities believe happened after he shot his wife multiple times in their home on Andover Street.

He remains jailed without bail.
