WILKES-BARRE — A rule to show cause hearing has been scheduled in a case involving an ex-girlfriend’s accusations against David D. Kuharchik.

Kuharchik, of West Wyoming, is being sued by Sharon Lynett of Dunmore, who maintains he repeatedly promised in 2012 to marry her after his divorce. Lynett also claims to have given Kuharchik money for mortgage payments.

Kuharchik has filed a motion requesting the court recognize that Lynett has no right or title to the property. A March 10 hearing has been set in which Lynett must show why Kuharchik’s motion should not be granted.
