Winter’s latest blast is expected to affect the area tonight and tomorrow, and PPL Electric Utilities is monitoring the weather and is prepared.

As a result, power outages are possible.

All of our repairs crews are ready to respond, according to a PPL news release. Travel conditions could hamper travel for our crews, so the public is asked to be patient for responses.

Customers should be prepared for possible outages and be sure to charge their cell phones and other communications devices. In addition, they should make sure they have fresh batteries for their flashlights. Customers with wells should make sure they have bottled water on hand in the event of an outage.
