WILKES-BARRE — A convicted felon accused in the killing of a man in the Boulevard Townhomes apartment complex will face criminal homicide charges in Luzerne County Court.

Jordan Stevens, 27, appeared for a preliminary hearing before District Judge Martin Kane on charges he killed Christopher Narainasami, 18, on Sept. 13.

Prosecutors allege Stevens fired multiple rounds from a handgun striking Narainasami and Alexander Torres Silva, 21. A third person with Narainasami and Silva was not injured.

Narainasami died from multiple gunshot wounds, according to the county Coroner’s Office. Silva survived a gunshot wound to his leg.

Kane forwarded an open count of criminal homicide against Stevens to county court.

Stevens was released from state prison in October 2012 after serving a sentence for an armed robbery on North River Street, Wilkes-Barre, on Dec. 12, 2005, according to court records.
