DALLAS — The Pennsylvania Game Commission Northeast Region Office, 3917 Memorial Highway, Dallas, will conduct an open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 5 to offer information on how to become a deputy wildlife conservation officer.
DWCOs work with full-time officers to provide wildlife law enforcement, nuisance wildlife control, and educational services to the hunting and general public, said officer director Daniel Figured.
WCOs and region deputies will be on hand to explain the application process, basic requirements, qualifications and duties. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and a high-school graduate or have a GED equivalency diploma, and should have a good understanding of hunting/trapping related activities.
