We received these photos and the following message from Jody Brogna, a member of the Pittston High School graduating class of 1966. This was the last class to graduate from Pittston High. The group got together last year and are planning to do it again on May 16.
Graduates, classmates and friends, this June will mark the 48th anniversary of our high school graduation. Everyone who attended last year’s event had a great time reconnecting with old friends as well as forming some closer bonds with former classmates.
The party is scheduled for Friday, May 16, 7-11 p.m. at Arcaro & Genell’s Restaurant, Old Forge. Just like last year, this is a “no stress”, “casual dress” and “informal” event, like any other pizza night.
The menu is similar to last year and includes salad, assorted pizzas, homemade stromboli, pasta (with three sauces), as well as wine, beer and soda refreshments. There will be a cash bar for those interested in cocktails. The cost for the event is $35/person or $70/couple including tax and gratuities.
We would appreciate payment for the event by May 2, so we can provide Arcaro’s with an accurate count. Please make checks payable for the appropriate amount to Arcaro & Genell’s and mail to:
515 Susquehanna Ave
Old Forge, Pa 18518
We ask that anyone currently in touch with former classmates either pass this information on or preferrably have them provide their email address to firstname.lastname@example.org. Hopefully we can reach all those interested in attending.
We hope to see everyone there.
