WILKES-BARRE — Underground Cares will host a rock benefit from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. today at The Factory: Underground, 105 N. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, to benefit the family of Robert Ebersole, who died last week.


Ebersole, 64, of Annville, had been hospitalized for some time prior to the planning of the benefit. His son, Kenneth, is a local musician from Edwardsville. Underground Cares is a non-profit that supports local artists and their families in times of need.


Bands performing include Prosody, Threatpoint, Beyond Fallen, Praise the Sinner, OVA, 3 to Breathe, The Nothings and The Way. Admission is $10 for those under 21 and $5 for those over 21. There will be raffles and food for sale.
