WILKES-BARRE — Following two highly-successful years of touring the world with his Genesis Revisited and Genesis Extended shows, former Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett returns this fall with a North American tour that will include a stop at the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts on Nov. 14.

The show is scheduled for 8 p.m. and tickets prices are $29, $55 and $75 (limited Gold Circle), plus fees.

In celebration of his new album “Wolflight,” and the 40th anniversary of the release of his first solo album, “Voyage of the Acolyte,” the tour will offer fans a unique show filled with Hackett’s solo and Genesis classics.

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at the Kirby Center Box Office, by phone at (570) 826-1100 and online at www.kirbycenter.org. A special Kirby Members Pre-Sale begins Thursday at 10 a.m. Members buy first, so join today at (570) 823-4599, ext. 225.

Along with superb compositions such as “Ace of Wands’ and “Spectral Mornings’ and a few selections from “Wolflight,” the guitar great will conclude his 150-minute concert with more Genesis material that was not part of his previous tours of 2013 and 2014.

Epic songs like “Lamb Lies Down on Broadway,” “The Cinema Show,” “Can-Utility,” “Hairless Heart” and “The Musical Box” will be part of this spectacular tour. For many, it will be the total Steve Hackett experience, spanning his prolific output from his early Genesis days to today.

Hackett has released more than 30 solo albums in addition to the seven he did with Genesis, as well as his work with the super group GTR, featuring Steve Howe of YES.
