Hanover Area approves student dress code

HANOVER TWP. — The Hanover Area School Board adopted a revised dress code effective for the 2013-14 school year at its monthly meeting on Thursday night. The dress code resolution received its third and final public reading during the session and passed without dissent. Parents are advised that compliance with the revised dress code is mandatory. Copies of the dress code can be found on the district’s website, www.hanoverarea.org. In other business: The board voted to approve an agreement between WVIA Public Television and the district for educational programming at a cost of $1,500 for the 2013-14 school year.


The board agreed to amend the Articles of Agreement for the school name change for the Wilkes-Barre Area Vocational Technical School to now read Wilkes-Barre Area Career and Technical Center.
