HARRISBURG — Two area teenagers — Bradley Adams, of Dallas, and Nicholas Emmett, of South Abington Township — are among 46 teens selected to attend the Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner’s Honor Camp at the state police academy in Hershey, which began this past Sunday.

The cadets, ages 13-18, were selected from among more than 1,500 boys and girls who participated in Pennsylvania State Police Camp Cadet programs last year. Selections were based on the cadets’ outstanding leadership abilities and conduct at their local Camp Cadets.

Participants are taking part in leadership courses and classes to improve their understanding of government and law enforcement. Cadets also will visit the Gettysburg battlefield and the Governor’s residence for a tour and lunch. There will be a graduation ceremony at 11 a.m. Saturday.
