HANOVER TWP. - Township police say a woman was assaulted and robbed by three men in the area of West Division Street and Lee Park Avenue late Sunday night.

The woman told police she left a friend’s house at about 11 p.m. when three men came out of no where and attacked her. She claimed she was knocked to the ground after being struck in the face.

A pack of Sonoma cigarettes and a lighter was taken from the woman’s pockets, police said.

The woman described her attackers as two dark skinned males, one wearing a dark colored T-shirt and the other wearing a light colored T-shirt. The third suspect was described as a Hispanic male wearing a dark colored T-shirt with the word “Scar Face” down the side.

All three men wore blue jeans and are believed to be 17 and 18 years in age.

The men were believed to be scared away by an older man walking a dog in the area.

Anyone with information about the assault and robbery is asked to call Hanover Township police at 825-1254.
