Lake-Lehman board accepts 2 resignations

LEHMAN TWP. — Lake-Lehman School Board earlier this week accepted the resignation of human resources director Jacqueline McHale.
Board President Mark Kornoski said after Monday evening’s meeting that a search has not yet begun for her replacement.
The board also accepted the resignation of Jenilee Kukuchka as an elementary music teacher.
Nutrition Inc., the district’s food service provider, presented a demonstration about the new Farm to Fork program, which includes locally grown produce in the menus in the school cafeterias.
The superintendent’s office announced that the dedication for the new turf on the playing field will be at 6:30 p.m. Sept 20, just before the Knights’ home football game with Holy Redeemer.
The new field also will be the site for the UNICO all-star game on Nov. 27.
The board’s next regular meeting will be at 7 p.m. Oct. 14 at the Junior-Senior High School.
