At least three residents of a home at 157 Mill St. in Wilkes-Barre were displaced Sunday afternoon after the structure sustained extensive fire, smoke and water damage, according to Assistant Fire Chief William Murtha. A city fire inspector will return to the scene Monday to determine the cause of the blaze, he said. Firefighters were dispatched shortly before 1 p.m. and had the fire under control in a little over two hours, he said. One firefighter was treated for minor injuries, and no occupants were injured.
