Esther M. Belcher, 82, of Cease Terrace, Lake Silkworth, RR 2 Hunlock
Creek, Hunlock Township died Thursday at Kingston Health Care Center.
Born March 15, 1916, in the Parsons section of Wilkes-Barre, she was a
daughter of the late Robert and Anna Martindale Walker.
She was a member of Lyndwood Community Congregational Church, Lyndwood,
Hanover Township.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel J. Belcher Sr., sister,
Beatrice Young, and brothers, Robert Walker and John Walker.
Surviving are her son, Daniel James Belcher Jr., Metropolitan Avenue, Lake
Silkworth, RR 2 Hunlock Creek; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren;
and brother, Albert L. Walker, Wilkes-Barre.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday from the Clarke Piatt Funeral
Home Inc., Sunset Lake Road, Hunlock Creek with the Rev. William G. McCall
