The National Weather Service in Binghamton, N.Y., has issued a wind advisory for most of Northeastern Pennsylvania until 2 p.m. Friday for wind speeds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 45 mph.

Unseasonably warm temperatures are in the forecast today with the high expected to be 69 degrees, 14 degrees above the normal high temperature for Nov. 1.

The rain is expected to taper off during the early afternoon hours.

Pennsylvania Power Light is reporting 518 customers without electrical service with 427 customers in Sugarloaf Township, according to PPL’s website.
