HANOVER TWP. — Township police are investigating a knife-point robbery at Shelley’s American Pie Pizza on Carey Avenue Tuesday night.


Police said two men brandishing a knife entered the restaurant at about 9:30 p.m. and demanded money from the cash register. A wallet from a patron was also stolen, police said.


The first suspect is a white male, thin build, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, and wore a black ski mask, black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.


The other suspect who brandished a silver knife with a red handle is described by police as a black male, thin build, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, and wore a dark grey scarf over his face and a black hooded sweatshirt.


The two suspects are believed to be in their 20s and fled behind the business toward railroad tracks.


Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Hanover Township police at 570-825-1254.
