COURTDALE — A Wyoming Valley West School Board member has been cited by police twice in the past 18 months and pleaded guilty to both crimes.

It came to light today that board member Thomas Pieczynski Sr., 63, of Courtdale, pleaded guilty to defiant trespass on Oct. 18. Courtdale police cited Pieczynski on Oct. 9. for an offense that occurred on Sept. 12, according to court documents accessible online.

Court documents also indicate that Pieczynski pleaded guilty in August 2012 to disorderly conduct — engaged in fighting — for an incident that occurred on June 13, 2012 in Kingston Township.

The online court documents do not provide details of the incidents, and officials with neither police department could be reached to provide details.

Pieczynski could not be immediately reached for comment.

AT least one of Pieczynski’s encounters with the law was brought up earlier today on a talk radio show.
