Misericordia holds close lead to win by one point

DALLAS — The Misericordia University Men’s basketball team had a 29-28 halftime lead and held on to defeat vising DeSales College 57-56 in Freedom Conference play on Wednesday.

Matt Greene led the Cougars with 16 points while Erik Kerns contributed 10 points.

Misericordia is now 9-7 overall and 3-2 in conference play.


DeSale’s 76, Misericordia 66

Despite 22 points from Hannah Seely, Misericordia University fell to DeSales, 76-66.

Justine Seely recorded 16 points and a team-high 10 rebounds while Katie Drayton added eight points.
