KINGSTON Alexis Pileggi scored the game-winning goal in the second half off an assist from Alyssa Shaver to secure a 3-2 victory for the Wyoming Valley West girls soccer team over Hanover Area on Tuesday.


Alex Hargrave led the Valley West offense in the first half, scoring two goals, while Shaver finished with two assists.


Holly Langley also added an assist in the win, while Paige Heckman stopped five shots in goal for Valley West.


Amelia Hossage had two goals to lead Hanover Area in the loss.


H.S. GIRLS SOCCER

Holy Redeemer 7, Meyers 0

Lydia Lawson led Holy Redeemer with two goals and two assists as the Royals defeated Meyers.


Emily Schramm added a goal and three assists in the win, while Alyson Manley chipped in a goal and an assist for Redeemer.


Emmalie Langan stopped 14 shots in goal for Meyers.


H.S. BOYS SOCCER


Hanover Area 4, GAR 1

John Murphy, John Morgan, Dom Gagliardi and Dylan Luzny scored a goal apiece to lead Hanover Area to a victory over GAR.


Tyler Gavlick and Matt Clemons each had two assists for Hanover Area, while Joe Gagliardi recorded seven saves to secure the victory.


Jesus Tlatenthi scored the lone goal for GAR of an assist from Leizer Mero.


H.S. VOLLEYBALL

Wyoming Area 3, GAR 0

Sam Acadio recorded 14 kills, three blocks and two aces to lead Wyoming Area to a shutout victory over GAR.

Mallory Bohan added seven kills, four aces and seven digs in the win, while Audrey Heidacavage logged 28 assists and three service points.

Banessa Flores led GAR with one kill, 11 assists and three digs in the loss.

Crestwood 3, Dallas 1


Olivia Jankowski logged 29 assists, 22 service points and four digs to lead Crestwood to a four-set victory over Dallas.


Nicole Jankowski added 15 kills, 14 service points and five aces in the win. Karyn Wojmar chipped in 14 kills, seven service points and five blocks.


Mallory Faux recorded 20 digs


Holy Redeemer 3, Meyers 0


Kellen Katra had 15 service points and Alison Rawski added 10 as the Royals swept Meyers.


Lexie Evans had eight assists, Casey Carty made five kills and Kaya Swanek added three kills for Redeemer.


Zichon Wilborn paced Meyers with five service points and three kills.


COLLEGE MEN’S SOCCER


Misericordia 2, Juniata 0


Derek Antonini scored on a header off a corner kick from Dennis Halpin in the 13th minute, which was all the Cougars needed in their victory on the road against Juniata College.


Nick vonEgypt added an insurance goal in the second half. He leads the team with three goals on the year.


Barry Fitzgerald had four saves and led a defense that secured its sixth shutout of the season.


COLLEGE WOMEN’S TENNIS


King’s 9, Keystone 0


King’s College won all but one of its matches in straight sets en route to a shutout victory over Keystone College at Kirby Park.


Madeline Griffin, Sara Lynn, Emily Biffen and Lauren DeReinzi earned victories in both singles and doubles matches.


Maggie Walsh and Vanessa Wagner chipped in singles victories for the Lady Monarchs.


With the win, King’s improved to 2-2 on the season.
