Peynton Lee

    Peynton B. Lee III, 40, of Main Street, Swoyersville, died Saturday at his
homeBorn in Kingston, he was the son of Peynton B. Lee Jr. and the former Mary
Kemmerer of Swoyersville.
   
He graduated from the Wyoming Valley West School District in 1974, and
served in the U.S. Navy.
   
Before moving to Swoyersville, he lived on Miller Street, Luzerne.
   
He was employed by the Power Engineering Corp., Wilkes-Barre, and a former
10-year partner in the Lee Mechanical Co., Swoyersville. He formerly taught
refrigeration classes at the Wilkes-Barre Area Vocational Technical School.
   
He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Kingston, and the
Refrigeration Service Engineering Society.
   
He was preceded in death by his brother, Staff Sgt. Timothy S., in October
1994.
   
Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, the former Carole Gruss,
Forty Fort; a daughter, Dana Rose Lee, Forty Fort; a brother, Robert E.,
Swoyersville; numerous nieces and nephews.
   
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday from the Hugh B. Hughes & Son,
Inc., Funeral Home, 1044 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort, with the Rev. Denise Brown,
officiating.
   
Interment will be in Fern Knoll Burial Park, Dallas.
   
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
